The purpose of the association is:

The realization of the mutual interests of association members

Informing the public about new trends, technical developments or other standards in the realm of authoring and content management systems

The definition and specification of standards or interfaces to other projects in the market segment of the members.

The association does not pursue any commercial or party-political interests.
