Aim of DERCOM
The aim of the association is to regularly inform the public about emerging trends, technical issues or standards in the area of editorial and content management systems. In addition, standards or interfaces to other products in the members' market area should be defined and specified.
The COTI interface
The start project of the DERCOM association was the development of an interface between authoring and translation memory systems - short COTI.

“DERCOM Track” at the tekom annual conference 2023
A complete success
Translations, AI, networking: The Association of German Manufacturers of Authoring and Content Management Systems, registered association, in short DERCOM, contributed to the lecture program at the tekom annual conference 2023 in Stuttgart with a one-day track consisting of seven contributions. On November 15th, the association provided information on basic topics in the area of editorial or content management systems. With success, because the lectures were well attended and offered scope for exciting discussions.
iiRDS is compliant with VDI 2770: DERCOM achieves important association goal
The Association of German Editorial and Content Management System Manufacturers (DERCOM) can rejoice: On 01 April 2020, VDI Guideline 2770 came into force. This now officially confirms that the Intelligent Information Request and Delivery Standard (iiRDS) is compliant with VDI 2770 even after the guideline has been revised. This is a great success for DERCOM, which contributed to the rapid implementation of conformity through its work in the iiRDS consortium. (2020)

New CMS market study - DERCOM participates in panel discussion
The market for content management systems (CMS) is on the move: The new CMS study, which will be presented at this year's tekom annual conference, is therefore eagerly awaited. In a subsequent panel discussion, members from the Association of German Editorial and Content Management System Manufacturers (DERCOM) will discuss the results of the study and trends in the editorial systems market. Carl Pfeffer and Sebastian Göttel appointed to DERCOM Board of Directors
The Association of German Editorial and Content Management System Manufacturers (DERCOM) has elected a new board of directors: The member companies now appointed Carl Pfeffer, CEO of Fischer Information Technology AG, and Sebastian Göttel, Head of Sales & Marketing at SCHEMA Group, to head DERCOM. This replaces the previous leadership consisting of Stefan Freisler and Henning Mallok. The new board would also like to focus on the active further development and dissemination of information standards such as the Intelligent Information Request and Delivery Standard (iiRDS). (2019)
Across Language Server supports COTI
Another step towards more convenient and flexible translations: The Across Language Server now supports levels 2 and 3 of the Common Translation Interface (COTI) of DERCOM. COTI enriches the translation performance of Across with further automations and thus optimizes processes in a customer-specific manner. iiRDS - DERCOM members inform about the new standard (2016)
The intelligent information request and delivery standard - iiRDS for short - is getting closer. As founding members of DERCOM, both Schema GmbH and the gds group outline the advantages of the new standard for data provision in their blogs.
tekom publishes the first test version of the new “intelligent information request and delivery standard” (iiRDS). This is available for free download at www.iirds.org .
